Pog dates back to the 1930s on the island of Maui. When a group of employees played with milk caps to fill their time between shifts. Pog was reintroduced in 1991 by a school teacher in Maui and POG MANIA started. The local Hawaiian kids were getting most of their milk caps from a local dairy who made a drink called POG meaning Passion-Fruit-Orange-Guava.
